Snow Removal info is easy to access
Hood River County Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of County roads and bridges, including snow removal during snow events. In addition to plowing, Public Works also applies a deicer material in strategic locations to prevent freezing and ice build-up and may apply cinders (or sand) on hills, curves, and high-speed roads after storm events when time allows. 2024 County Forest parking permits on sale
2024 Parking Permits for Hood River County Forest staging areas are now available for purchase at hoodrivercounty.net/parking-passes and at several local shops. The permit is for parking in Fee Parking Zones and is not for entry, recreational use or access to any County Property or Fee Parking Zone. READ MORE HERE>
