Temporary Restaurants

There are fee discounts if the application and fee are received at least 2 weeks in advance.

'Temporary Restaurant'. Licensed 'Temporary Restaurants' are defined in Statute: ORS: 624.101 (sub-paragraphs: 4, 11, & 12).

Submit Applications, with Payment:

  • Directly to: Hood River County Health Department, Attention: Environmental Health, 1109 June St., Hood River, OR, 97031; or
  • environmentalhealth@hoodrivercounty.gov.
  • Options for Payments:
    • We cannot take payments over the phone.
    • Please make check-payments to:  'Hood River County'.
    • Online Payments are possible at: https://www.hoodrivercounty.gov/ (click ‘Make a Payment’, then ‘FEE PAYMENT’).
      • Note: There is an additional service fee when paying online.
      • The online payment portal does not communicate directly with HRC-Environmental Health. 
    • Email us a copy of your receipt, with your license application, to:

When we receive your complete application, we will review it.  If approvable, we will send you a license/certificate.  If we need more information from you, we will contact you. Thank you.

We will not review applications until payments are received (where applicable)

Single-Event Temporary Restaurant / Exempt Foods Agreement Application For temporary event food vendors and visiting (out-of-town) mobile food venders.
Seasonal & Intermittent Temporary Restaurant Operational Plan Review Application For reoccurring events only, like Farmers' Markets, League Games, etc.
Seasonal & Intermittent Temporary Restaurant License Renewal Application Only existing and approved Seasonal/Intermittent facilities. Not for new operations.
