Plan Review:

New facilities; Changes of ownership; etc., complete our Plan Review process.  The first step is a 'pre-plan review consultation':

Pre-Plan Review Consultation Application:  Fill out this application.  Then, bring it with you to your first consultation with our office (you may also email it to us).  We will guide through the next steps of the process.  Please call or email ahead to set an appointment, or make sure we are available if you want to come without an appointment (see above) 

Food Handlers' Certification:

Get your Food Handlers' Card if you work with food.

Emergency Operations - Licensed Facilities

Preparing your business/organization for an emergency is important for you and your employees.  It also helps protect the public’s health.  Emergencies might include events like prolonged power/gas outages, boil water advisories, extreme weather (cold/wind/heat), wildfires, evacuations, etc.
 

Online Inspection Reports Online:

The online inspection report viewing portal provided by the Oregon Health AuthorityFood Pools & Lodging program, and operated by 'Health Space'.
 
Copies of all inspection reports are available upon request in our office.  For bulk-information requests, please make a formal a public information request via Hood River County Administration (here).

Temporary Restaurants Licensing:

Event food venders, booths, and visiting carts, trailers, etc.

Swimming Pools & Hot-Tubs (spas):

Aquatic Facility Design Standards and Construction OAR 333-060 (intended for plan review staff and builders); & 

Aquatic Facility Operation and Maintenance OAR 333-062 (intended for operators and inspectors).
