Forest Carbon Project
With increased regulation and voluntary reductions of carbon emissions due to concerns for climate change, a value for forestry carbon has emerged as a way for actively storing carbon vs. emitting carbon in the atmosphere. Community members who are interested in applying for or renewing coverage with the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) have a resource at the Hood River County Health Department. Juvenile Department guides youth offenders
